6/1/2007:
The Chef’s Cottage, a participative, hands-on cooking school for all levels and abilities in Exeter, NH, is proud to announce two new professional collaborations.
First, we are excited to announce that Chef James Haller, former owner/operator of the famed Blue Strawbery of Portsmouth, will be presenting scheduled classes at The Chef’s Cottage in the coming months. Chef Haller has written several acclaimed cookbooks, is a culinary innovator, and helped to shape the seacoast’s notable restaurant history. Chef Haller’s classes will begin with the Fall schedule.
In addition, we welcome Pastry Chef Arie Kidder to our operation. A graduate of The New England Culinary Institute in Vermont, she operates her own business, Arie Kidder Custom Cakes, and has worked at The Top of The Hub as well as Biba, in Boston. Her innovative and detailed style can easily be defined as true food artistry. Arie and her family recently moved to the Exeter area and she will be utilizing our kitchen for her production facility. Also, beginning in the Fall, Chef Kidder will be scheduling baking classes at the Cottage.
